On the heels of its bevy of 2016 product introductions, Weatherby has announced that it will be making the new Vanguard Dangerous Game rifle available in the coming year. A variant of the venerable Vanguard line, the Dangerous Game Rifle (DGR) will be available through Weatherby's Custom Shop.

Weatherby has announced the pending reelase of its new Vanguard Leupold Package, the latest offering in the company's venerable Vanguard line, which originally debuted in the 1970s. As the package's name suggests, it will include both a rifle and an optic, in this case the Leupold VX-2 3-9X 40 mm riflescope.

Weatherby has continued to roll out its upcoming 2016 product line, and among its most recent announcements was the arrival of the new Wilderness rifle, the latest iteration in the company's popular Vanguard series.

Weatherby has been in the shotgun game for a longtime, but it changed its approach last winter when it rolled out the new Element, an inertia-operated semi-auto designed with upland hunters across the nation in mind. For 2016 the folks in Paso Robles have plans to put their new shotgun in the hands of even more scattergun aficionados, with the impending introduction of the Element Synthetic and Element Waterfowler.

In 2016, Weatherby will provide significant refinements to its legendary rifle for the first time since its introduction in 1958.
